Most of the country is getting pelted with blankets of snow this time of year, and many times that means that kids are kept cooped up indoors. Trust me when I tell you that I know how hard it can be to have lots of littles complaining that "They're board." Why not bring a little of the outdoors in with a fun I Spy Winter Sensory Bottle that can keep the kids occupied while giving you a bit of a break. Just make a few copies of the free printable, and the kids will be entertaining themselves before you know it.

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Fill a one gallon Ziploc bag about half of the way full with blue tinted shaving cream.

2. Add in winter themed decorations such as large glitter covered snowflakes, craft confetti featuring
snowmen, trees, snowflakes and stars, as well as some glittery craft foam balls in the colors of silver,
white and blue. You can put in some white or silver glitter as well to add some extra sparkle.

3. Get as much air as possible out of the Ziploc bag and close tightly.

4. Use packing tape to seal the top of the bag and prevent leaks.

5. Have your child look for the items on the I Spy Winter Wonderland worksheet and circle them as
they are found. Parents can help if little ones are not quite old enough to draw circles on their own.
