Jello sensory bag

October officially starts my favorite time of the year. With so many holidays at the year's end, there are a ton of family friendly activities and crafts to partake in. I love finding fun ways to have fun with kids. This Jello Jack-o-Lantern Sensory Bag is not only completely safe for little ones to play with, but it is also a great interactive holiday themed sensory activity. Play with it at home, or take it with you in the car to keep little ones occupied on longer trips.

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Prepare the orange Jello according to the instructions on the package. Place it into the fridge and allow it to set for a minimum of 4 hours.

2. Cut out three triangle shapes and one mouth shape from the black craft foam to form a Jack-o-Lantern face.

3. Place the foam pieces in the bag with the some of the orange Jello. You will need to fill the bag up about halfway with the Jello to get the ideal sensory play out of it.

4. Remove as much air as possible from the bag and then zip closed. Secure the top with some packing tape to eliminate leaks.

Once finished, you will have a squishy, sensory activity that is mess-free and fun for little ones. Do you have a favorite holiday themed activity to do with kids? Share it below! Like this Jello Jack-o-Lantern sensory bag? Share it on Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook!
