When the boys and I headed off on our three week adventure in Europe a few months ago, my main concern was how we were going to pack. We had not had to worry about packing much on our road trips, but traveling overseas and on planes was a whole other ball game. I knew I wanted to travel carry-on only, so that I could avoid checking 5 bags for each of our six flights during the trip. After some trial and error, we came up with a backpacking travel method that worked out really well for us.
