This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Clorox for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love my puppies, and most day, I like to think they love me right back. That's why I always look for ways to incorporate them into our family activities and fun time. This includes crafting and holidays. We have five dogs in our home, so there is no shortage of puppy love to go around. You always see parents creating Valentine's Day crafts with their kids' hand prints and I thought it would be fun to do the same, but with puppy paws instead. Check out the tutorial for this adorable Puppy Love Paw Print Valentine below, along with some tips for quick clean up!

Materials:

  • Black Paint
  • White Card Stock
  • Red Non-Toxic Finger Paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Micro-Scrubbers (for clean-up, puppies are messy)
  • Scissors
Instructions:

Step 1: Measure your dog's paw against your piece of card stock to get a feel for how big you want it to be. You will be creating four letters in a square shape, with the paw print being the "o" in "Love," so cut to size accordingly.

Step 2: Paint the letter "L" in the upper left corner of the paper, leave the upper right corner of the paper black. Paint a "v" in the bottom left corner of the paper and an "e" in the bottom right corner. Let all of the letters dry completely.

Step 3: Using a wide paint brush, paint red non-toxic finger paint onto the bottom of one of your dog's front paws and immediately press it onto the upper right corner of your card where the "o" in "Love" should go.

Step 4: Let your card dry completely, and add any other embellishments if desired.

Easy Clean-Up

Working with dogs isn't always clean and easy. Little Bit is the puppy we chose for this project because she does not have hairy feet and is relatively small. Unfortunately, she is also wiggly. So, by the time the craft was done, we had paw prints and paint streaks on our white table. No problem though, I had recently stopped by Target and picked up the new Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Micro Scrubbers and had been using them to clean up messes all around the house, I knew they would be perfect for cleaning the half dried paint off the table.

Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Micro Scrubbers not only kill 99.9% of germs that live on surfaces for up to 48 hours including viruses and bacteria like Strep, Staph and E Coli, but they also cut through dirt and grease. What I love most about them though, are the tiny micro scrubbers that create the perfect texture for scouring away tough caked on messes that other wipes can leave behind. With a few quick scrubs, the half dried paint was easily off the table, and our craft project was tidied up. The micro scrubber texture makes them sturdier too, allowing them to disinfect 2x the surface area, clean tougher messes left behind by soap scum or grease, and they can be used all over your home!
