Tips To Reduce Holiday Clutter #WorkBetterWithFellowes
11:40 PMThis is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fellowes Brands for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
1. Do a "Fall Cleaning"
Most people think the best time to do a complete overhaul on their home organization is in the Spring, but cleaning out drawers, closets and emptying shelves of unneeded toys and other items can help you get ready for the upcoming holidays, making room for all the cards, presents and other clutter than inevitably comes pouring into your home and needs somewhere to go. Get organized and make room so you won't be stressed with a mess laying around everywhere.
2. Delegate
If you know that your business or work picks up during the holiday season, start delegating tasks now to make it easier on yourself and free up some time. I am a full-time blogger and also just started my own business with LuLaRoe. I know I have a lot on my plate going into the holidays, so I have hired some help and started to delegate some tasks that can be done by others.
3. Go Paperless
Now is a great time to start thinking about going paperless with your bank statements, bills and other things that can send mounds of unneeded paper piling into your home. Even cards are available in wireless form now. Maybe start a trend of sending wireless holiday cards that you can pin to a special Pinterest group board for friends and family to share. This is not only tech savvy, but cuts down on clutter in your home too.
