Our #GoldEmblem Football Party was a Hit! #CVSGameTime
11:13 AMA few weeks ago I shared four tips for planning a football party menu. For once, I took my own advice and put those tips into action to help plan my own football party for the big game using Gold Emblem snacks from CVS/pharmacy. It worked, and our football party was a huge hit. Everyone enjoyed the spread, and because there was so much variety in the snacks, there was something for everyone.
Gold Emblem Snacks at CVS
If you have not tried the Gold Emblem brand of CVS/pharmacy snacks yet, you're really missing out. Unlike some store brands, the Gold Emblem snacks truly provide a great quality alternative to name brand items which can often be pricier. We were sent a large box of Gold Emblem snack goodies to try out at our football party, and everything was a big hit. The items we had the chance to try out included:
- Original Beef Jerky (the boys could have eaten 10 more bags)
- Gold Emblem Honey Roasted Cashews
- Baked Wheat Snack Crackers
- Buffalo Wing Flavored Almonds
- Gold Emblem Classic Blend Trail Mix
- Thin Pretzel Sticks
- Gold Emblem Deluxe Mixed Nuts
- Veggie Chips (my personal favorite)
- Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Gold Emblem Buttered Popcorn
- Sparkling Water in Various Flavors
Our Gold Emblem Football Snacking Party
Since we were throwing a snacking football party, the primary focus of our menu was the snacks themselves. We placed different bowls and containers of the Gold Emblem snacks above around the table and topped it off with a fun football-shaped cheese and cracker plate made with Gold Emblem Baked Wheat Snack Crackers, some cheese and pepperoni.
We also added some buffalo wings and Lil' Smokies, which were a perfect compliment to the snacks. The Gold Emblem sparkling water worked well for the kids when mixed with some juices, and the adults had fun experimenting with using it in some adult drinks later that evening too.
I loved that Gold Emblem snacks can all be found in one convenient place, your local CVS/pharmacy store. Not to mention, there are often deals that let you earn Extra Care Bucks back when you purchase them. Our football snack party was such a hit that I know where I will be headed when it's time to plan the menu of my next event.

I have tried numerous Gold Emblem products from CVS and can't think of one that we didn't care for. But our favorite is their pretzels! They are buttery tasting and delicious. Looks like you had quite a spread. Football is great, but getting together with family, friends and food for the game is better!
ReplyDeleteSo much awesome snacks here, I have tried a few of the CVS emblem products, like the chocolate truffles, so amazing.
