  2. A friend of ours told us that you can cook a whole chicken in the slow cooker. There is probably a method to it, but it would be worth doing as convenient as it is.

    1. Your friend is absolutely right, you can cook a whole chicken in the Crockpot. I like to place it on a bed of some balled up tin foil so that it is sitting out of the grease and fat that drips off of it. It's wonderfully moist.
