Two nights is not enough. There are a million different things I could tell you about Hammock Beach Resort, but the most important thing I should mention is that two nights was not nearly enough for us to explore everything that this luxurious beachfront resort has to offer. Nestled on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Hammock Beach Resort has spacious accommodations, plentiful recreational activities and amenities galore for visiting families. We had the opportunity to spend two nights here in an absolutely breathtaking and perfectly appointed 6 bedroom vacation home, and it was an absolute pleasure from the moment we arrived until Bob the van drove is back out the front gate.

Accommodations


We had a literal jaw dropping moment the first time we opened the door to vacation home number 307 at Hammock Beach Resort. This 6 bedroom vacation home comes complete with all of the latest appliances, stocked movies, board games, a fire pit on the patio downstairs, and upstairs patio and so much more. The flawless beach-themed decor is perfect for the resort, and really helped to extend the feel of oceanfront relaxation during our entire stay.




Having a full kitchen, two living rooms, a washer and dryer, plus plenty of room to spread out, really made a difference in how we got along with each other, and saved money to boot. There were a mixture of room sizes, from master bedrooms with king sized beds and garden tubs to smaller rooms with two twin beds that are perfect for children.





While Hammock Beach Resort does offer a variety of other accommodation options including regular rooms, multi-bedroom villas and more, the vacation homes are by far what I would recommend if traveling with a large family or as a group. You can't beat the convenient location to the pool or beach and the room to move around and really relax. Our home was just a short walk up the sidewalk to the Fantasy Pool Complex.

Activities



When it comes to Amenities, the Hammock Beach Resort has almost too many to mention. The Fantasy Pool Complex is a great place to start though. With a lazy river, two heated pools one with a slide, a hot tub and a sand beach area with separate pool, this complex provides endless entertainment for all ages. An indoor pool is available too in case of bad weather or for a swim later in the evening.




Parents,want a few hours alone without the little ones? Drop the kids off at the Hammock Beach Resort Kids Crew so they can have fun while you enjoy a moment alone. Perhaps a visit to the relaxing spa for a facial, massage or specialty treatment might be in order, or a trip to the fitness center full of state of the art fitness equipment.



If you're a golf lover, then Hammock Beach Resort has plenty to offer with their two championship golf courses designed by Nicklaus and Watson. Family Fairways are also available so the whole family can golf together, and instructional sessions can be booked for beginners.



Hammock Beach Resort is also home to a wide range of other recreational activities for families, from beach volleyball to bike rentals, and who can overlook the gem of the Atlantic Ocean with complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach is the perfect place to relax with the kids.

Dining


No need to leave Hammock Beach Resort when its time for a meal. Enjoy a meal in the full kitchen within your vacation home or villa, or eat at one of the many on-property dining options.The Atlantic Grille is the only oceanfront restaurant in Palm Coast and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Stop into Delfinos for delicious Italian cuisine, or grab a bite to eat and drink at Loggerheads or the Cigar Bar. By the pool? You can get a casual meal at the Ocean Bar and Cafe. I suggest the tropical wings and basket of fries,which can easily feed a small group.
