I have always loved a subtle Southwest look in a home. The problem? I also like shabby chic decor. So, I meshed them both together to form a living room look that I would love to have in my home. I think the colors in it would play well with the brown walls and white bead board that we currently have in our living room. What really pulls the look together though is the rug. This is the MV-699 Multi rug from the Kalaty Mojave collection in a Southwestern style. I love the subtle nod to the Southwest and the mixture of colors that allow for so many decorating options.
