A Splashing Good Time at Wild Water West in Sioux Falls #70DayRoadTrip #Travel
11:52 AMThanks to Wild Water West for hosting our visit, all opinions are my own.
When we visited Sioux Falls last month, the temperatures were steadily rising. We needed a way to cool off, and Wild Water West provided just that. South Dakota's largest waterpark, Wild Water West features an array of water fun for the whole family, including a 500,000 gallon wave pool and a lazy river with a swim up bar! This fun-filled waterpark is definitely a safe haven from the hot summer temperatures, and a must do when you visit the area.
Wild Water West Attractions
- 500,000 gallon wave pool
- 2 speed slides
- 1 tube slide
- 1 body slide
- Lazy river with swim up bar
- Caribbean Falls water playground
- 4 foot deep Activity Pool with zero depth entry
- Baby pool
Want to take a break from the water? Included with your admission into Wild Water West is access to these fun land attractions as well!
- Go-Karts
- Mini Golf
- Bumper Boats
- Batting Cages
- Sand Volleyball
There is also an amazing paintball course that you can visit for an additional fee, with equipment for rent, or you can bring your own!
What I loved most about Wild Water West is that it has plenty to do to keep everyone happy the whole day, but everything is spaced close together and in such a way that you can watch the whole park at once. This let me relax a little and let my 14 and 12 year olds explore together and do things like the wave pool and slides, while my younger two and myself enjoyed attractions like the Lazy River, Caribbean Falls and the Activity Pool.
Planning a visit!
Day tickets from 11am-8pm are $24.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. Evening tickets are available for a discount and get you in from 4pm-8pm. Adults are $14.95 and kids are just $7.95. You can visit the Wild Water West website for more information on the waterpark or its attractions.

Fantastic pictures! It's super hot here today so I would love to get in the water.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! We'd have to take advantage of the evening rates with the size of my family!
ReplyDeleteI see you guys are still going strong...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe've gone to two different water parks this summer and had a blast... there's something for everyone at a water park. This one looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour photos look amazing! I just wish we had something like this near us as I bet the kids would love it.
ReplyDeleteGood Times, Good Times!! We always bought seasonal passes to Wild Water West when we lived in Sioux Falls. It was not too far from our home and it was more fun than going to the public pools. Plus add in the extras like the Mini Golf and Go Karts and it was even fun to go to if the weather wasn't ideal for swimming. Glad you guys had a good time in my old stomping grounds, just wish it would have been last year, so I could have met up with you :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun. My kids would enjoy going to that splash park!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone that went. I love all the pictures of everything.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the perfect place to visit especially during the summer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time and tickets seem reasonably priced too. Our local water park charges a hefty $40 per person, which can really add up for our family of five.
