5 Reasons to Choose Kajeet for Kids
1. Parental ControlsKajeet has more extensive parenting controls than any other network I have ever seen. Through an online interface, parents can control who their child can receive calls or texts from, put limits on the time of day they can use their phone, and even control what websites their child can access online.
2. Affordable Plans
Let's face it, few parents probably want to drop $100 a month or more on a child's cell phone plan. Kajeet offers a variety of plans starting at just $4.99 per month.
3. Great Phones
Kajeet phones are not simple two button devices that can only call mom or dad, they are fully functioning cell phones. There are many smart phones to choose from too, and you can also use a Sprint device that you might already own on a Kajeet plan as well.
4. No Contract
This is great for parents who only want their child to have phone during the summer months, or who take it away as a consequence for bad grades or behavior. No contracts mean that you can come and go as you please, and just get service when you really need it.
5. Award Winning Service
I could sit here and tell you the benefits of Kajeet as a cell service provider for kids, but it's just easier to tell you that they are an award winning service that has been found trustworthy by PTPA Media, Mom's Choice Awards, IParenting and NAPPA.

That time of day control is especially nice, I think. I didn't realize the service had won so many awards either.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Kajeet before but will check it out for my son!
ReplyDeleteWe had a Kajeet phone for a while and it was great for our needs at the time. The only thing I didn't like about it is that the phone number was recycled and people kept texting it from whom ever had it before we did and it would take off mine for those received texts :(
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great service for teens especially. I can't wait to try it out.
ReplyDeleteI need to get some parental controls on my daughter's to restrict when she's on her phone. That girl gets so distracted!
ReplyDeletelove the parental controls on the service. should get it one for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteI'm holding off as long as possible on buying cell phones for the kids, but this seems like a great way for us all to get used to the idea.
ReplyDeleteI don't think my 8 y/o is quite ready for a phone, but I'll definitely keep them in mind down the road. :)
ReplyDeleteMy oldest just turned 10 and it will not be long before she begins asking for her first phone. It is great to know there is an affordable parent friendly options available!
