I love sharing fun new apps for kids that I learn about. I am a firm believer in apps providing a constructive way for children to learn through play. My latest find is Laura's Journey to the Stars. This fun-filled storybook app is based on the bestselling "Laura's Star" series by Klaus Baumgart, and features a delightful story illustrated with adorable images. The interactive features in this app ensure that your child's imagination and creativity are fed for hours!

Laura's Journey to the Stars App

This colorful storybook app is based on a story of Laura who wants to go with her younger brother Tommy up to the stars to discover the answer to whether her brother's toy dog has it's own star watching over it too. It is a fun and whimsical story that most young children are sure to love. The read along feature is great for beginning readers and features storytelling from native speakers.


In total, that app features 80 fun-filled scenes, funny sound effects and other interactive options to keep kids busy and learning. The thing I like most about this app though, is that it does not have any in-app purchases, leaving parents free to let their children explore the app on their own without fear of hidden charges or fees.
