There are a million photo sharing apps out there, and they all do different things. What I have never seen before though is a photo-sharing app that not only allows you to invite friends and family members to view your photos and videos, but to contribute photos and videos of their own from a specific event to "blend" all your memories together in one place. Enter the BlendIt app. This photo-sharing app is the perfect way for friends and family members to share, connect and blend their content into one amazing package of memories all in one place.

What is BlendIt?

BlendIt is a photo sharing app that is available on both Apple and Android devices. It is more than just photo sharing though. With the BlendIt app, you can choose exactly who to share your photos and videos with. They can remove private, only available to those you wish to see them. You can easily invite friends or family to view your media. In addition, they can add photos and videos of their own to your "blend."

How Does it Work?

BlendIt is a super user friendly app to use. You simply sign up for an account, which takes maybe 30 seconds, and then you can get started creating your first "blend." This is a collection of photos and videos on a certain topic. It can be photos of a new addition to the family, an event such as someone's birthday, or in my case, a collection of photos from a recent media trip I took to Monterey.



Once the blend is created, you can easily add photos and videos to it from your phone, tablet, Facebook, and Google albums.


With the photos added, you have options of what to do with them. You can share them on social media networks, leave them for the invited members to enjoy together, create a Facebook banner sized collage, or even a collage-like video mashup with or without audio added.

I really love the versatility of this app. You can use BlendIt to easily share photos and videos with friends or family in a safe and private environment, or you can use it to mash up content from a bunch of people and create an amazing collage or video of your experience together to share with the world!
