Remember That Time You Couldn't Remember a Password?
4:41 PMThis post is brought to you in collaboration with PasswordBox, all opinions are my own.
Of course you do, because it was probably yesterday. If you're like me, then it was this morning and you then proceeded to spend 10 minutes typing in random guesses before being locked out of your account for 20 minutes and finally needing to call to get it reset. Okay, maybe your forgotten password story isn't so dramatic, and that's okay. The fact is, forgetting passwords seems to be a right of passage in this digital word we live in, where you would quite possibly need to be Rain Man to remember the
Well, there is. PasswordBox is an amazing little app that keeps all of your passwords for your most visited sites committed to memory under military level lock and key, ready and waiting to assist you in logging in to a site anytime and from anywhere. That's right, this nifty app is available through iTunes, Google Play and for your Mac or PC. Better than that, PasswordBox can sync wirelessly across all these different platforms and provide you with one-click login capabilities in a split second. Pretty cool huh? It was even named the best app at the CES 2014 mobile app showdown.
Let's take a closer look. So, I signed up for PasswordBox, and already there were some of my most visited sites waiting for me to add my login info to them on my start screen. It is so simple, you just click a site button from within the app, enter your login information and wallah, Password box stores it for you forever. In addition to the most popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, Hulu, PayPal, etc., you can also add a new site manually.
But wait! Right about now, you are wondering why I am putting all the passwords to my most personal and important information in this app right? Aren't I worried? Nope, not at all. Why? Because PasswordBox uses the same level of security clearance as the US government. It just isn't going to get any safer than that my friends.
In addition to saving time by not having to play a mental memory game when it comes to forgotten passwords, the PasswordBox app also saves you a ton of time with their One-Click Login feature. One click is all it takes to go to and login to your favorite sites. This may not be such a big deal when you are on a PC, but it is a huge time and frustration saver on a mobile device.
What else can PasswordBox do? Well, it can act as your mobile wallet. If your wallet gets stolen, you could lose all kinds of important information, but with this app, you can have it all stored safely should it be needed.
The legacy feature is another great resource that the PasswordBox App offers readers. Should something happen to you, you can set you will have access to your various logins for different sites. This is becoming a much needed feature with as much time as most Americans are spending online.
So, how much does this super magical password remembering app cost? Nothing. Yep, you heard me right, it's free. You can save your login information for up to 25 platforms for free on PasswordBox. Should you want to add more, you can get a yearly subscription for just $11.99.
Ready to download? Here's how you can get it:

ReplyDeleteDo you know how many things I have passwords to, and how many different passwords I have??? This is such a great service!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect service! I'm definitely one of those people who never remembers my many passwords.
ReplyDeleteI keep mine in a folder, but sometimes I sign up for stuff & forget to write it down. Then it is a royal pain. Guess I should check this out and get out of the stone age...lol
ReplyDeleteThis is something I really need to look into.
ReplyDeleteThis app looks like a wonderful resource! I especially like the Legacy feature and often wonder how my husband would manage in the event of an emergency.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a wonderful app, but I get so paranoid that something like this would get hacked and expose all of my passwords. Right now, I just keep my passwords written down in my notebook.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty brilliant! I forget my passwords ALL. THE. TIME. It doesn't help that every website has different requirements!
ReplyDeleteI thought of the security issues but this seems to have a handle on that, I love the idea!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an awesome app! I'm definitely going to check it out!
ReplyDeleteSo much more secure than keeping a text list somewhere or in a note app!
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool, I always forget my passwords, never right them down.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great service. I'm always forgetting my passwords!
ReplyDeleteI think this is so neat. I have all mine stored on a spreadsheet but I can't access it when I'm not at my laptop, so this is a much better alternative.
