We have the quad lantern and LOVE it! For our camping trip this past weekend, we purchased a dutch oven but didn't get a Lodge brand -- they are PRICY! We found a great, pre-seasoned one (with legs) at Academy for about about a 1/4 of the price of a comparable Lodge one.
ReplyDeleteYou really know what you're doing at this point! I like that combo cooker, so versatile. That big water container is such a good idea too!
ReplyDeleteI want one of those outdoor ovens. If not for camping, at least for emergency preparedness. The solar rechargeable lantern seems really nice too. Nobody likes to worry about batteries all of the time.
ReplyDeleteHubby and I were just talking yesterday about wanting to go camping this year. You must really enjoy camping to go on a 70 day trip. I can take it for about a week and I'm ready to go home. These tools are a great idea for someone truly serious about camping.
ReplyDeleteI am not and likely never will be a camper, BUT I can see how those LED lanterns would be handy in all kinds of situations. I'd love for some of those as emergency back ups in case the power goes out.
ReplyDeleteO.K., just when I've nearly put together my dream appliance collection for my kitchen, now you have me coveting this camping stove...lol
ReplyDeleteThat stove is really nifty! All these things sound so great, and you're going 70 days?! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI had a lodge iron once, and it rusted unless it was absolutely dry all the time (I didn't know that could happen, eek!)…this is a great list, thanks Kathleen! I would feel very prepared for the outdoors with many of these products.
ReplyDeleteThe camp stove is one of my "Wants" too Robin. I did pretty well with a small gas burner stove last year, but it would be so nice to have the oven too.
ReplyDeleteI love the water filter and the tent! I really want to have a huge tent for my family to start camping, I have yet to take my kids camping ever. It would be so much fun. To have a water filter would be perfect, as a kid I grew up drinking from a brook when at camp with my Dad, it wasn't good to do that. Wish I had a filter back then!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great items to have for camping. My sister camps a lot and she would love some of these items.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a camping kind of gal, but give me one of everything and I might give it a try! :)
