I wrote this post as a Serta ambassador, all words and opinions are my own. 

I have never been the one to have nice things. In fact, almost every big ticket item I have ever owned has been used or a hand-me-down of sorts. So, when I was given the opportunity to becomes a Serta ambassador and receive a Serta iSeries mattress earlier this year, I could not have said yes faster. Finally, a chance to bask in the comfort of a top-end mattress and put an end to my tossing and turning at night! I was completely unaware of what happens when your bed is too comfortable though.

What does happen? Well, you never want to leave. I don't know when it happened, but at some point I took to working from my bed. Scratch that, I do know when it happened. It happened the moment I returned from a 50 day camping trip with the boys to the plush comfort of my new Serta mattress. I soon found that it provided the perfect work environment. Sounds weird right?

Well, it's not. Not only is it oh so comfortable, but it's quiet too. Since the mattress is in my room, I can shut the door when the boys are playing by themselves and the house seems quieter. It lets me get my work done faster, and since we don't have room for a desk in my bedroom, it works perfectly! Of course, there were those few times that I was lulled to sleep by the memory foam, but we won't mention those. Okay?

So, what happens when your bed is too comfortable? You never want to leave and you come up with reasons to stay in it, that's what!
