Visit Puerto Rico - My Dream Itinerary
9:00 AM
This post brought to you by Puerto Rico, The All-Star Island. All opinions are 100% mine.
Puerto Rico has always been high on my list of places to visit because it has the draw of an excotic location without the need for passports or foreign currency. Have you seen an photos or videos of Puerto Rico? It is a gorgeous place with over 270 miles of amazing coastline! Not only that, there is so much to do there. Luxury, adventure, history? No matter what you're looking for, you'll find it in Puerto Rico. I came up with my dream itinerary for when I finally get to visit, and thought I would share it with you all.
Camuy Caving Adventure
Part of the Rio Camuy cave system, Angeles Cave is your destination during this day long excursion of adventure. Including zip lining, rappelling, body rafting, swimming, climbing and more, you'll get a work out and the adventure of a lifetime while exploring one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Top of Old San Juan Helitour
See everything the island of Puerto Rico has to offer from the air on a breathtaking helicopter tour. Helitours leave San Juan daily to explore the coast, mountains, canyons and other scenery that can only best be admired with a bird's eye view!
Explore El Yunque
El Yunque is the only sub-tropical rainforest under the protection of the United States National Forest Service. I can only imagine the hiking and non-stop exploring that could be found in the hear of this untouched forest.
The Bioluminescent Lagoon
If I ever make it to Puerto Rico, I will not leave without taking a dip in the Bioluminescent Lagoon. Shining as bright as a million little fireflies, this lagoon seems to be lit from within. The light actually comes from microscopic plankton that let off light through a chemical reaction when they're disturbed. I imagine it must be an amazing thing to see in person!
There is so much more I would want to explore in Puerto Rico, I have rarely seen a place with so much to offer those who visit. They have enough world-class attractions to turn any visit into a 5-star vacation story.
