How to Create a Video Story from Your Phone with Voyzee

This post is brought to you in collaboration with Voyzee, all opinions are my own.

I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to create a travel video for a post, but had no actual video and didn't know enough about editing to add narration, music and all that good stuff. I recently was asked to review Voyzee, a mobile all-in-one storytelling app that helps you create video story using photos or videos on your IOS or Android device, and it is just what I have been looking for. In about 10 minutes I had a great, fully edited and narrated video from our recent trip to Universal Studios complete with an included soundtrack to share in my post, you can view it above. Let me show you how it works!

First, you need to download the app to your device. You can find the Voyzee app for free in both the iTunes and Google Play stores. Once the app is downloaded you can register for a free account and get started. To create a video story, simple click the (+) icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be given several options to choose existing photos or videos from your phones camera roll, or capture new ones. After that, you just click on the photos or videos you want to add and move on to the next step.

Once photos/videos have been added to your story, you have a few features you can change or add on this screen. You can choose the "Edit Story" option to change the name and description of your story and you can easily add a soundtrack to your video story. There are a ton of pre-loaded soundtrack options you can choose from, or you can add an mp3 file of your own from your mobile device.

The "Privacy" option will let you choose who can view and comment on your video story once it is published.

This is where you get to trim, change filters, set transitions and even remove background audio from included videos. Don't panic, this is all simple to do and all you have to do is tap on the options you want.

You can even add narration when you are in the edit screen for a specific photo or video. In the Voyzee video story I created, I said the line to a short poem I created for the video that went with that particular photo. Mess up? No problem, just press record and start again.

At any time, you can press the preview button to view a preview of your video story so far. When you are all done editing the story, go back to the main screen and save in the upper right corner, you can then save, publish and share your story on social networks. Easy right? Check out the Voyzee video story I created!

I will likely use Voyzee to create video stories for my blog, but there are a ton of great uses. You can made a video story as a keepsake for your family vacation, to celebrate a birthday, or for a ton of other great reasons. Go ahead, download the Voyzee app for free today and see how easy it is to create a video story of your own! Connect with Voyzee on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on the latest news too!
