Wholesome Family Entertainment with SpiritClips

This post is brought to you in collaboration with SpiritClips from Hallmark, all opinions are my own.

Have you surfed YouTube lately? It takes about three clicks max to land on inappropriate material on there. The same can be true for channel surfing, or even browsing through the available options on online movie streaming sites. What if there as one place you could consistently turn to for 100's of wholesome, family friendly and engaging movies, clips and documentaries. Well, there is such a place, and it's called SpiritClips from Hallmark.

{About SpiritClips from Hallmark}

"SpiritClips is a subscription streaming video service that offers heartwarming films for the whole family including handpicked Hollywood feature films, Hallmark Hall of Fame® movies, original shorts, and compelling series and documentaries. Originally founded in 2007 by Academy-award winning producer, Rob Fried, SpiritClips boasts an uplifting library of content that includes contributions from partners such as MGM, Miramax, Sony Pictures, Bud Greenspan Olympics, and many others."
{My Take}

When I was asked to try out a SpiritClips subscription and view the short on the site entitled "Sally," I wasn't sure what to expect. I mean, sure I like the Hallmark channel and all their movies, but I guess I just expected to find a site with one or two movies I wanted to watch, and a whole bunch of other videos that just didn't interest me. I also didn't think that a short film of a mere three minutes could really convey any sort of message in that short of an amount of time. I was wrong on both accounts.

By the time I finished watching the short film "Sally" starring Nancy Travis, I was a bubbling mess of tears and my boys were wondering what was wrong with me. Go ahead, go check it out here, I'll wait for you. See what I mean? It sends a powerful powerful message in one a matter of minutes. The SpiritClips site is full of touching and heartwarming shorts just like that. It also has 100's of different Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, different series, documentaries and even some family friendly Hollywood Feature Films like "All Dogs Go To Heaven."

What I love most about the SpiritClips site? No matter where my kids might wander on the site, I don't have to  worry about them running into excessive violence, language or nudity. It really is entertainment the whole family can watch together! Also, you can take it with you wherever you go. It can stream live online through the website, on your TV with devices like the Roku, Boxee and NeoTV and can be used on IOS and Android devices.

{Buy It}
