Back to School Style and Savings with Kohl's
6:00 AMI participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consultingfor Kohl’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I shared with you all a few weeks ago my plan to shop at Kohl's on tax-free weekend in order to help save even more on back to school clothes for the boys. Even though it was super busy that weekend, we were still able to score several outfits that my oldest son Joshua loved. Not only did we find clothes that fit his style needs, but we found them at great prices that met my budget needs. Not to mention the Kohl's cash I scored! I earned $20 in Kohl's cash which can be redeemed through the 18th, on a little something extra for myself. What? A mom deserves a little something something for all her hard work. Right?
{Our Steals}
Our Kohl's has a smaller selection of boys' clothes than other Kohl's stores I have seen, but even as busy as they were on tax-free weekend, we were still able to find plenty of good deals in stock. Joshua usually goes for plenty of color, so I was a little surprised to see him go for neutrals, but Kohl's did have a great selection of basics. He ended up getting white and black polo shirts (not pictured), a grey t-shirt with black trim, a white t-shirt, a grey and white striped t-shirt, grey and white plaid shorts, black shorts, and a grey and aqua pair of shorts all for a few cents over $100!
That is an average of about $12.50 per piece, and we're talking great name brands like Tony Hawk, Helix and Urban Pipeline. Joshua decided he would humor me and put on a little fashion show with some of the pieces, so enjoy!
Yes, before you ask, those are flip flops, and they are his back to school shoes. The school here allows children to wear them. Hey, it's Florida, what can I say? Kohl's made our school shopping hassle free with a great selection that Joshua loved, all at prices I didn't have to say no to, so if you still have shopping left to do, be sure to head out for some of the great back to school deals!
Do you love shopping at Kohl's?
