Where to Stay in Chattanooga?
1:08 PMIf you are considering a trip to historic Chattanooga, TN., there is really only one answer to the question of where to stay. That answer is The Chattanoogan. With its urban flare, The Chattanoogan strives to provide first class modern hospitality, and the fact that it is the city's only AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel proves that it has been successful in doing just that. Situated right in the center of downtown Chattanooga, The Chattanoogan is only a short walk, free shuttle ride or car trip away from the majority of the areas' main attractions.
Accommodations
One of my favorite things about our room at The Chattanoogan was the color scheme. The red, browns and whites all blended together into the perfect modern feel that put me right at home. Of course, the new pillow top mattresses didn't hurt either. The down bedding and pillows made for a fantastic night's rest too. While I am not a coffee drinker, the complimentary in-room tea was welcomed each morning and their moisturizing soap smells divine! Everything about the accommodations here screamed comfort and style.
You will literally melt into these beds.
Nightly turndown service. See those chocolates? They are minty and delicious and I stole them all!
The mini-fridge came in handy to store the leftovers from our cooler.
Complimentary tea and coffee!
See those towels? They were almost as long as me!
I really need to install one of these mirrors in my bathroom at home.
Great view of downtown Chattanooga.
Service
While the accommodations and amenities of a hotel are important, nothing can sink the mood of a trip quicker than bad service. Fortunately, that was not a problem on our visit to The Chattanoogan. From giving me directions to the closest free shuttle stop to helping me arrange an extra night of accommodations when my van needed repaired, the staff was always friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help.
Amenities
What would a first class hotel be without plenty of amenities? The Chattanoogan sports a top notch spa where you can relax and unwind, including an indoor pool with hot tub, locker rooms complete with sauna and steam rooms, as well as a roomy fitness center.
Hungry? Stop by the Broad Street Grille for full service dining. We had breakfast here one morning during our stay, and the breakfast buffet was full of scrumptious southern specialties like biscuits and gravy, grits, fried potatoes, sausage, bacon and even french toast! Need to unwind for the evening? Stop by The Foundry, where you will find a full bar, bistro menu and gameroom. Stroud's Sidewalk Cafe is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat when you want something quick and casual.
{Book Your Stay}
If you are planning on visiting the Chattanooga area, I highly suggest checking into the specials and packages available at The Chattanoogan. Their rates are competitive, and their location can't be beat. Planning on visiting the aquarium, Warehouse Row or other downtown attractions and hot spots? All are within an easy walk or free shuttle ride from the hotel! Come and experience the modern comfort of The Chattanoogan hotel.
We received complimentary accommodations at the The Chattanoogan for the purpose of review, but all words, thoughts and opinions are my own.
