Destin Family Resort - Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village
10:02 PMDestin is only a few hours from me and is home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the East coast. With its crystal clear water and sugar sand beaches, you won't want to leave once you visit. I was lucky enough visit here once again this year for Brandcation. Since I usually travel with the boys, I am always on the lookout for places that are very family friendly. If you are searching for the perfect Destin Family Resort, then the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village is for you!
{Convenient Location}
{Luxurious and Spacious Rooms}
The Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village features rooms ranging from 1-4 bedroom condos. During Brandcation, we stayed in the two bedroom condos with a bunk room add on. The rooms are more than spacious and the detail is amazing. From the deep garden tub to the granite counter tops in the kitchen, the quality really shines through. What really makes the rooms though are the views. Each room has a balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding coast. Check out the slideshow of our accommodations.
{Dining}
We were given the opportunity to experience quite a few of the dining options available at the Emerald Grande and within Harbor Walk Village. All are within a short stroll of the resort and were equally delicious. Within the resort there is the Grande Vista Bar & Grill, which was a casual environment where we enjoyed breakfast one morning and lunch one afternoon.
La Famiglia is a warm and inviting Italian restaurant that really lets you unwind, take your time and enjoy your company. Crab Island Cantina is a fun-filled Mexican restaurant that comes complete with a live band and dance floor. My favorite of the bunch was probably Harry T's though. This place gives off a laid back beachy vibe and had some of the most delicious food I have ever seen. My burger came complete with thick slices of cheese, ham and even fried brussel sprouts!
{Entertainment}
You remember my posts on Destin Snorkel and the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise? Well, these are both located at the base of the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village. That's not all there is though. Kitty Hawk Kites provides paddle boarding and kayaking, Boogie's Watersports has jet ski rentals, parasailing and pontoon boat rentals. In addition, there is also a Kid's Zone that has a wide range of activities for the younger group, including water trampolines, JetPack Destin, Laser Maze, a mining company and so much more! There really are plenty of activities for everyone and the best part is, you never need your car. Look for a zip line experience coming this summer too!
{Amenities}
Apart from the built in dining and entertainment options, there are a host of first class amenities that raise the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village to the top of the Destin Family Resort list. One of my favorite included amenities is the free boat shuttle to the private beach area. A boat shuttle complete with two restrooms will take you over to the beach area, where beach chairs and umbrellas are waiting nestled in the white sand. Need refreshments? No problem, they will deliver them from the hotel right to you on the beach.
The Emerald Grande also features a spacious outdoor pool and heated indoor pool, as well as a full spa and fitness center!
If you are looking to visit a beach this summer, you can't go wrong with Destin. The waters are crystal clear, the sand is soft and snow white, and the sunsets will simply take your breath away.I highly suggest your consider the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village as your Destin family resort as well and see how much this area has to offer!
Most of our stay, activities and meals were provided free of charge, some items were paid for by myself. All words, thoughts and opinions are my own.
