Donate When You Decorate with PAAS and Heinz
10:30 PMFor as long as I can remember, coloring Easter Eggs has been a tradition in my life. I can remember growing up and each year we would color eggs together and the Easter Bunny would hide them while we slept. The next morning, we would have an Easter Egg hunt around the house to find them. Now that I am older and have kids of my own, we carry on that same Easter tradition each year. This year, PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits and Heinz Vinegar have teamed up to make the tradition of coloring eggs even sweeter by giving you the chance to help donate a dollar to the Make a Wish Foundation.
{The Easter Egg Decorator App}
Heinz Vinegar and PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits have teamed up to create the fun and interactive Easter Egg Decorator App. The app can be accessed both online via a computer, as well as through iTunes. You and your children can visit the app now through March 31st and create uniquely decorated eggs of your own to send and share with friends and family. Each time you do, PAAS and Heinz will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $25,000! Check out my one of a kind egg.
{Our Easter Tradition}
PAAS and Heinz were kind enough to send us a fantastic Easter basket filled with seasonal goodies, including three of the seven newest PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits available this year, and some Heinz Vinegar so that we could continue our tradition of dyeing eggs together and have them come out their best and brightest. The new PAAS kits contain fun new twists on egg decorating, including the Volcano Eggsplosion kit that uses melted crayon shavings to add color and the Touch of Velvet kit that uses double stick adhessive and flocking powder to create fun fuzzy designs on the eggs.
Of course we had to save some of the fun for Easter weekend, but we couldn't resist giving the Touch of Velvet kit a try. It was surprisingly easy once you got the hang of it and the eggs were unlike any we have made before. The designs really do come out just like velvet on the egg. With the average kit costing around $4.25, it is an affordable way to get in some family fun this time of year!
Be sure to stop by the Easter Egg Decorator App online or download the app and share your own egg creations by March 31st to help PAAS and Heinz donate a $1 to Make-A-Wish!
What is your Easter tradition?
