Announcing the Life With 4 Boys 'Great American Camping Road Trip'
12:06 PMLast year I was super duper pregnant with the surro-baby when summer rolled around and I really didn't get the chance to do much with the boys. They have become too accustomed to picking up the video games or watching TV during the summer, so this year I have planned the 'Life With 4 Boys' Great American Camping Road Trip.' What in the heck is that? Well, it is basically where I throw my crazy self and the boys into a van loaded with camping gear and we visit ten states with 15 different stops while living out of a tent the whole time. Sounds like fun right?
{Where We're Going}
We will be visiting the following locations on your road trip:
- Alabama Gold Camp
- David Crockett State Park in Tennessee
- Blanchard Springs Caverns in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas
- Great Salt Plains State Park in Oklahoma
- Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas
- Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico
- White Sands National Monument in New Mexiso
- Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona
- Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona
- Arches National Park in Utah
- Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado
- Taos Pueblo in New Mexico
- Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma
- Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas
- Tupelo, Mississippi
That is 91 hours of driving and nearly 5,500 miles with four boys in a car. Don't worry though, I have broken it into 5-6 mile trips separated by 2-3 nights at each location, so we will be gone for about 38 days. More information will be coming as June 1st gets closer, but if you are a brand interested in helping to sponsor our trip, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Have you ever gone on a family camping road trip? I would love to hear your experience in the comments below!

ReplyDeleteThanks ladies!
ReplyDeleteLOL Meghan, I know, but I really think it will be great. I broke the driving into no more than 6 hour lengths, we are staying 2-3 nights at every location and there will be constant new sites to see. I think the combination of that and wearing them ragged with activities during the day will make it pleasant and not a disaster. :) I think...
