Incredibly Easy Slow Cooker Broccoli Chicken Alfredo
8:54 AMNeed a quick and delicious meal? Then this is the one for you. The boys love Alfredo sauce, so when I was putting together recipes for this months' freezer meals, I wanted to put together something that would be easy to throw in the Crockpot and yummy for the boys too. This recipe is so easy to dump in a bag, freeze and then just pop into the slow cooker for a great meal.
Ingredients:
1-2 lbs. chicken breasts
1 bag frozen broccoli florets
2 jars of Alfredo sauce (you can also make your own if you like.)
1 lb. Fettuccine noodles
Step 1: Dump all ingredients except noodles into a freezer bag, label and place in freezer.
Step 2: Defrost the bag the night before serving and place in Crockpot to cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6.
Step 3: Cook the noodles on the stove top 15 minutes before serving.
Have a simple slow cooker recipe you would like to share? I would love for you to leave it in the comments below.

ReplyDeleteI love Alfredo! I've never tried to make my own, I would hate to ruin it.
ReplyDeleteMaking your own isn't hard. You just need cream, butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese. Bring things to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer it a bit until it thickens. Add veggies/cooked meat and serve over pasta. You can mix in milk too to stretch the sauce without quite so much fat from cream. You do need some cream to make it taste right. ;)
DeleteYummy!
