Bare Minerals "The Happy Place" Smoky Summer Eye Tutorial
7:00 AMI recently fell in love with Bare Minerals. I have purchased a ton of their products over the last few weeks and have had two makeunder sessions with an amazing local beauty ambassador named Lili. In one of these make under sessions, Lili was kind enough to give me step-by-step instructions on how to get a perfect summer eye look using a new Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 palette from their new Supernatural collection. The new palette is called "The Happy Place" and features some beautiful colors that are great for blue eyes especially. Want to get this look to? Just follow the steps below.
The Happy Place Palette
Smoky Summer Eye
Step1:
Prime the eye area with the Prime Time Original Eye Primer. This will hold your makeup on all day and prevent creasing.
Step 2:
Place the Well Rested Eye Brightener on the brow bone as a natural highlight. It can also be used as a concealer under the eye to hide bags and dark circles. I use it for that purpose everyday now.
Step 3:
Use a tapered blending brush to sweep "Exhale" the taupe color in the Happy Place palette into the crease as a contour. This creates depth in the eye.
Step 4:
Next, take "Peace", the light apricot color in the palette and put it on the inner corner of the eyes. This opens the eye up as a highlight.
Step 5:
Take the shimmery rose gold color "Imagine" and pat it all over the lid with a flat brush. This color will make blue eyes pop.
Step 6:
Use the dark purple color "Euphoria" and blend it into the outside corner/crease with a blending brush. Once blended, you can sweep away fall-out from the shadow with a fluffy brush.
Step 7:
Apply the new Round the Clock Waterproof liner in 7pm and some mascara.
