Have a Very Hoppy Easter with Lindt + Giveaway
2:00 PM
I like most other pregnant or non-pregnant women for that matter adore chocolate. I don't like the cheap generic kind though. No, give me the diamond of chocolate any day, but keep your knockoffs please. For me, Lindt is the diamond of chocolate. I worked in a candy store when I was 17 and I used to adore their Amaretto Truffles. Not a day went by that I did not have one. When I was offered the chance to review the Lindt Hoppy Easter Basket to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Lindt Gold Bunny, I of course, jumped at the chance to indulge in some delectable treats.
Lindt Gives Back!
Not only do they make some absolutely delicious chocolate, Lindt also gives back. In fact, they are partnering for the third straight year with Autism Speaks to help raise funds for awareness. This year they will donate up to $10,000!
How can you get involved?
When the Hoppy Easter Basket arrived at my door, I was in heaven. Let me just tell you, that if you have never had a Lind truffle, you are more than missing out. The basket consisted of the Lindt Gold Bunny of course, and he is looking mighty good for being 60 years old. There were two bags of Lindt chocolate eggs that I had to wrestle away from the boys, four chocolate hazelnut carrot pops that are almost too cute to eat and a ginormous bag of assorted truffles. The truffles I have hidden away so that they cannot be poached by the chocolate vultures that are my boys.

"First, 10 cents of proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks for each bunny sold in the U.S. in 2012. Lindt is also donating up to $25 to Autism Speaks for every #Pin4Autism pin on Pinterest through Easter. To participate, your readers can visit Lindt’s #Pin4Autism board on Pinterest and select and re-pin the Easter tradition photo that they enjoy most."Lindt Hoppy Easter Basket

When I was little, I'd get up early & find my Easter basket that was hidden somewhere in the house. When I had my daughter, 16 years ago, I passed my Easter basket on to her. We have 4 kids now & they all have their own baskets, that "the Easter bunny" hides - But my 16 year old, still gets my basket, & some day she'll pass it on to her 1st born =)
