Surrogacy Update 25 Weeks!

9:19 AM

So, it has been over a month since my last update on the surrogacy. As you can see from the photo above, not much has changed. While I feel bigger and it is harder for me to breath, there hasn't been a change in my weight or my size. Let me just add that I was overweight before getting pregnant and have only gained 6 pounds the whole pregnancy so far, so it is not unreasonable that I have not gained any weight in the last 5 weeks. Trust me, Baby C has plenty of room to grow and grow she is. She weighed in at 1lb 6 oz. at our 24 week ultrasound and she is still measuring large in the 65th percentile overall.

She is healthy as can be and loves to start kicking around 10am and then again at 7-8pm. She is pretty still the rest of the day. She does not like Frosted Mini Wheats though and makes me get sick whenever I attempt to eat them, but has not given me any particular cravings at all. In fact, I don't eat nearly as much as I used to because my stomach feels so full all the time. I don't remember my stomach being this tight or full feeling with the boys, so maybe it is just the way I carry girls. All is well and in 105 days she will be resting in her Daddies' arms!

  1. That was one of my problems with my first pregnancy. I also had a lot of heartburn.

  2. I have only had one or two cases of heartburn this whole time, it just feels like my stomach is going to explode most of the time LOL. No stretch marks are showing this time though, so I guess that won't happen.

  10. LOL Liz. I know. They were my absolute favorite cereal. I keep buying them and trying, but I get a bite or two in and it is all over.

  12. I have to admit that I loved being pregnant (it wasn't in the cards for me to be pregnant more than once). I went 2-weeks past my due date, and those two weeks were miserable, but other than that the whole 9 months were great. My belly was much bigger than yours at this point in my pregnancy, though. :)
