I would have to say a pet peeve of mine is that I taught my brother to grill some awesome corn on the cob on the grill. There's a certain way I do it that everyone loves. Anyway, I taught him and then he comes over and wants to grill out one day. He was trying to tell me how to grill the corn. Even though his food wasn't fully cooked. I told him, "Duh I'm the one who taught you the secret on the corn!" Of course the sibling rivalry never ends no matter how old you get!

My husband can only cook a few things- eggs and he can grill. My pet peeve is although there can be tons on the frig, he will stand there with the door open like a perpetual teenager and keep saying there is nothing to eat.

Since men never really know what they want, it's easier to put a plate in front of them and then they're happy. A well fed man is a happy man!

my boys always change their minds, about everything, toys, ames, ideas, but they never change their minds about what they like to eat. So they are most certainly easy to fed but very hard to understand.

My hubby is always easier too know what he wants to eat verses what he is thinking. I bribe him with his favorite pizza since it is an hour drive to get it. Time to talk.

ReplyDeleteAs the old saying says "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" sure does ring true. I pride myself on being a great cook and my husband attests to that. He tells everyone that's why he married me. He says it as a joke but I do believe that was a factor when we first started dating. It makes me feel good to see people enjoy the food I prepare.
ReplyDeleteMy pet peeve is that my sweetie is too easy to please - he doesnt like the majority of vegetables and other ingredients - so I don't have to worry about cooking elaborately, BUT I really want to try new and exotic dishes. Email: yona(at)pricelesswriters.com
