UNO Roboto Adds a Whole New Dimension of Family Fun!
9:02 AMWe have all heard of UNO before. In fact, I would venture to say we have all played it at least once in our life. It is a whole lot of fun mixed with the ability to get revenge, what could be greater than that? I have loved UNO ever since I was a kid and would play it with my family and friends. I was recently given the opportunity to try out UNO Roboto. This is UNO on speed people! They have seriously taken this family favorite to a whole new level and it has added an entirely new dimension to family fun!
{About UNO Roboto}
Just like its plain counterpart, UNO Roboto is a card game that accommodates 2-10 players and easy enough for even my six year old to play, although the recommended age is 7 and up. However, UNO Roboto also features a cute Wall-e-esque robot who helps guide the game. At the beginning of the game, you record everyone's names and can set your own house rules. At any given time during the game, Roboto will randomly yell out names, house rules and instructions. It all equals a whole lot of fun and plenty of laughs.
{Our Take}
The boys loved this game! It is great for adults too, but the kids really got a laugh out of it. The fact that you can customize it with your names is fabulous and adds a personal touch. House rules are hilarious and trust me, the funnier you make them, the more laughs you will get by the end of the game. Our House Rules included hopping on one foot, patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time and trying to touch your tongue to the tip of your nose. You are of course free to add any rules you want though.
The basis of the game itself is the same as regular UNO, so the boys already knew how to play, which is a ton more fun then needing to learn an entirely new set of instructions. I would recommend UNO Roboto as a fun family night or party game for people of all ages. We truly had a blast with it and it will remain one of our favorites for a long time to come.
{Buy It}
You can buy UNO Roboto at retail stores across the country and also online at stores like Amazon and of course the Mattel shop. If you purchase select games from Toys 'R Us now through the end of the year however, you can earn a free Shutterfly photobook code. I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of UNO Roboto and received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
