Halloween Recipe Roudup
9:15 AM Spooky Sandwiches from FamilyFun.
I know, I can't believe it either, but Halloween is right around the corner. The boys love Halloween and every year, I love trying out new spooky recipes I find online. I thought it would be fun to create a roundup post of some scary Halloween recipes I can't wait to make this year. Enjoy!
1. Kitty Litter Cake

2. Scary Snake Pizza
I made this last year and the boys loved it. It is really easy to make and they ask for it all year round, not just at Halloween time. It is also cheap to make and feeds a lot of people!
3. Wicked Witch Cupcakes

Are these not just the most adorable things ever? I did not come across these until recently otherwise I definitely would have made them last year. They are do cute and simple to make.
4. Macaroni and Cheese Monsters
This is another recipe that I made for the kids last year. Not only are they cute, but it is a cook way to sneak in some spinach as well.
5. Easy Ghost Cookies

I love this recipe for how simple it is. Dip peanut shaped cookies into candy coating and top with some black icing. Nothing could be easier and this is a great last minute recipe for Halloween.

ReplyDeletelol Yep, that cake has a 10 on the gross out factor scale, but for some reason I just can't wait to set it down in front of the boys.
ReplyDeleteCute ideas -- although I don't think I could do the kitty litter ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat? Kitty litter cake? Can we call it something else? ;) I love the ghost cookies!

ReplyDeleteYou could call it something else, but it would look the same. :)
ReplyDeleteThose ghost cookies look like something I could do. Lots of great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThat kitty litter cake looks gross but I guess that's what you'd want for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThese are just fantastic for a Halloween party. I love the witch cupcakes - even I could make those. I make a mud, bugs & dirt in a clear cup with pudding, crushed cookies and gummy worms.
ReplyDeleteI do have to agree with Alex, though, that Kitty Litter cake is just all kinds of WRONG! YUK...

ReplyDeletelove the witches!!
ReplyDeleteThe snake almost looks like the stromboli we get for Christmas. Usually the pizza place makes it in the shape of a candy cane for us since we order it ahead then finish baking it Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection! I love the sandwich. Super simple and my kids would think that's pretty funny in their lunchboxes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the kittie litter cake. I've never been brave enough to make it but I think it's hilarious1
