Race Into Summer With The Wham-O Slip N' Slide Triple Racer
10:30 AMHere in Florida, I am always looking for new ways to incorporate water play into summer fun for the boys. From the pool to frequent water balloon fights, staying cool and wet is the best way to survive the summer heat. The boys had an old Slip N' Slide that they loved, but it had seen better days. So, when we were given the chance to review the Wham-O Slip N' Slide Triple Racer, I new it was the perfect chance to replace our old model.
{About Wham-O and The Slip N' Slide}
"The Wham-O® Slip ‘N Slide®, a mainstay of backyard summertime fun, is turning 50 this year. Invented by upholsterer Robert Carrier and released by Wham-O® in 1961, the Slip ‘N Slide® gained instant recognition for turning backyards into magical summer play lands and continues to be passed on from generation to generation.
Since its inception, Slip ‘N Slide® has become one of the most popular outdoor activities, leading to sales of over 30 million slides and licensing deals with the likes of Disney, NASCAR® and Marvel. Slip ‘N Slide® has evolved from a simple single rider slide into double and triple rider slides in incredible 3D proportions with new water effects. Two new versions of Slip ‘N Slide® Extreme available now are Monster Splash, which creates the biggest splash yet, and Black Diamond Racer, the first ever curved Slip ‘N Slide®. Available in major Mass and Sporting Goods retailers everywhere, these exhilarating new models will send kids sliding until their fingers and toes turn into prunes!"{Our Take}
The Slip N' Slide Triple Racer with Boogies is great for families with multiple kids! That is my number one praise of this product. No more arguing about whose turn it is or whining because they have to wait. With three wide lanes, the boys were able to slide all at once and the Triple Racer even gave in to their competitive nature and allowed them to race each other!
The inflatable boogies are also a great feature of this product. They cushion the sliding and help to avoid skinned knees and bellies. My mom has a generic brand Slip N' Slide at her house for the boys that does not have boogies and I can tell you, they had skinned knees and quit sliding after only a few minutes a few weeks ago. The boys will literally play for hours on the Trip Racer without a scratch. Let me clarify, that is several hours of quiet time for mommy with no fighting or screaming by the boys. That my friends, it a priceless asset.
I could ramble on a lot more about the Slip N' Slide Triple Racer, but I will let these pictures of the boys speak volumes for me.

Oh wow, this looks like all kinds of fun. It would be perfect for us since we have three little ones.
ReplyDeleteMy son got one last year for his birthday and the boys loved it. The whole neighborhood enjoyed it. Then I left it down a for too long and turned the grass brown. LOL then it was banned by my husband .. hehe
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
lol Alexis. Yes, it will turn the grass brown if you leave it down too long. Luckily, I own all the grass in our yard, so no pesky husband to ban it here. :)
ReplyDeleteI ordered one of these for the boys the day they were on Zulily. I can't wait for the to try it out. We had a regular Slip n Slide, but they broke it because they couldn't grasp the one at a time concept. I figure with the tripe one, we shouldn't have that issue.
ReplyDeleteoh man, that looks like SO much fun!!!
