This summer has already been pretty dang fantastic for the boys and I. Camping, fishing, bowling, movies and more have all collaborated to bring the boys hours and hours of summer vacation fun. However, it can't all be fun and games. When I have to work or when the weather is not so cooperative, I need entertainment that is safe for my children to watch and that will keep their attention. Disney's Phineas and Ferb has always been a favorite among my boys and has been a true lifesaver this summer, keeping their attention when I need a little quiet time. So what could make this the best summer ever? The new Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension movie of course!

"In the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension," Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey yet, into another dimension! When the boys finally discover that Perry is in fact a secret agent who battles the forces of evil daily, they join him on a grand adventure that blasts them to another dimension where Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken over an alternate Tri-state Area. When they uncover his ploy to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-state Area, the gang as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him."

It is no secret on Life With 4 Boys that we love all things Disney. It is equally unsurprising that we are big fans of Phineas and Ferb. Phineas and Ferb are always devising new and creative ways to have fun while using their imaginations and the tools at their disposal. Candace is always good for a laugh in her constant battle to catch them in the act and get them in trouble once and for all. Her "Mom" pleas are legendary and my boys have copied them more than once when trying to get their brothers in trouble.

What I love most though, is that I know it is always safe for my boys to watch. I don't have to worry about inappropriate content. We received a great fun pack of Phineas and Ferb items in anticipation for the release of the new Across the 2nd Dimension movie and it included the Phineas and Ferb: The Daze of Summer movie. You definitely don't want to miss the premier of the new Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension movie. Be sure to catch it on the Disney Channel Friday, August 5 at 8:00pm ET/PT and on Saturday, August 13 at 10am ET/PT on Disney XD. Gather the whole family, grab some snacks and make it a family movie night!

On July 11th in New York City, "Perry the Platy-bus On Tour" launched, sending a 27' long Airstream trailer designed to look just like Phineas' and Ferb's pet platypus Perry across the nation. Perry the Platy-bus will travel from New York to San Diego's Comic-Con International and the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, with many stops in between. During its frequent stops, children will be invited to come aboard and share in tons of fun, including playing the new 3D Unity video game. Best of all, it is free and you can track its location and progress online.


There are tons of other great products rolling out with the new movie, to keep the fun going all summer long.
