Natural Homemade Dog Cookies
10:25 AMAfter being gone for three days for the surrogacy screening (which went fabulously), I wanted to do something special for our dog Doodle to let her know that we missed her. She had a great time running around at my mom's house, but I still wanted to give her a little treat. I decided to make her some homemade dog cookies and of course, we used the Garfield cookie cutters for a fun touch.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tbls. baking powder
few shakes of cinnamon
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Mix together all ingredients in a bowl until a cookie dough consistancy.
Step 3: Roll out dough on a flour covered surface.
Step 4: Cut out cookie shapes and place on a foil covered baking sheet.
Step 5: Place dog cookies in the oven for 10-15 minutes until a golden brown and cooked through.
Trust me, your dogs will go crazy for these and they are so easy to make. Share a little love with your doggy today and create your own homemade dog cookies!

Wow. You love your dog WAY more than I love mine. I feel like a crappy 'dog mom' now!
ReplyDeleteNah, truth be told, I wanted to bribe her to like my house better than my moms. My mom has 15 acres, a creek and lots of fun stuff. Our house is boring. :(
ReplyDeleteI think I would even like those. I wonder if I could feed them to the girls?? ;)
ReplyDeleteJase begged and begged for one Cheryl. He was practically crying. I let him have one finally, he took a bite and then said "I think I will stick to grown up cookies." lol
