Spring Themed Oreo Cookie Ball Recipes

Spring has sprung and Easter is only a few short days away. Instead of sticky sweet candy, why not add some homemade treats to the Easter baskets this year? These spring and Easter themed Oreo cookie ball recipes are sure to please everyone and are covered in yumminess!

Spring Oreo Cookie Balls 
Ingredients:

6 oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 tsp.  orange zest
1 pkg. (16.6 oz.) Spring OREO Cookies, finely crushed
2 pkg.  (6 squares each) BAKER'S White Chocolate, melted, divided
2 drops each red, yellow and blue food coloring

Instructions:

MIX cream cheese, zest and cookie crumbs until well blended.
Shape into 40 (1-inch) egg-shaped balls. Freeze 10 min. Meanwhile, spoon 1 Tbsp. melted chocolate into each of 3 small bowls. Tint each with a different color food coloring. 


DIP balls in remaining (untinted) melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Decorate with tinted chocolate. 


REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

Lemon Blossom Oreo Cookie Balls
 Ingredients

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg.  (16.6 oz.) Golden OREO Cookies, finely crushed
1 tsp. lemon zest
2 pkg.  (6 squares each) BAKER'S White Chocolate, melted
1 Tbsp. assorted decorating icings
40   white nonpareils (about 1/2 tsp.) 

Instructions:  

MIX cream cheese, cookie crumbs and zest until well blended.  

SHAPE into 40 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Fit tubes of icings with star tip; use to pipe small flower onto top of each ball. Gently press nonpareil into center of each.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

  5. These oreo cookies are so delicious, I've made them alot and I also make them with the nutter butter cookies too, taste better than a reese cup, so yummy its hard to stop eating once I get started on them,

  6. These sound and look absolutely delish! Can't wait to try. I've never heard of Oreo Spring cookies. Don't know where you live, but I'm from Canada. I wonder if they carry Spring Oreos here. Dying to try this recipe! Take care.
