We're Gonna Party Like It's 1999 - #UBP11 In the House!

Okay, so maybe we won't party our way back quite that far. For the record, in 1999 I graduated high school, got married and was expecting my first child. Whether you are one of my four tortured loyal readers or are just stopping by for the first time, the party I speak of is the Ultimate Blog Party 2011 going on over at 5 Minutes for Mom. When I heard about it, I knew it was right up my alley. I love any excuse to shake my groove thang and make new bloggy friends. So pull up a chair, have a drink on me and I'll tell you a bit about myself.

About Me and The Four Boys


I am a maid mom to four boys who are the absolute light of my life, ages 10, 9, 7 and 5. My 10 year old has ADHD and my 9 year old has a diagnosed non-specific learning disability that has caused some humps in the road of parenting, but we are learning as we go. Our family also includes Matt who would be classified as my hostage boyfriend I suppose since we are not married, but have been together for over six years. We are hopelessly addicted to Disney World, don't blame me, it is the hypnotic power of the mouse. I swear!

I work from home and enjoy it most of the time. I have very little time for hobbies, but I do love all kinds of music and of course blogging. Earlier this year, I took the first steps towards becoming a surrogate for a great couple and hopefully will be moving forward with the screening process soon. You can stay tuned for more updates on that as it moves along.

What is Life With 4 Boys?


Life With 4 Boys is a relatively new blog. Although I have been online working as a freelance writer for nearly five years now, I did not start this blog until May of 2010. I have been lucky enough to make many connections and even a few friends along the way and my ultimate blog goal is to help others and maybe provide a bit of inspiration or information along the way.

What will you find here? Who the heck knows! Honestly, my blog is a lot like my life and is scattered with various niches and interests. If I had to pick a niche for my blog, it would be "Life". Some of the topics often discussed here include:
Occasionally we dance, sometimes I get personal, but most of the time I just like to laugh and have a great time sharing with others.

I won't subject you to anymore of my babbling, on with the par-tay!!!!     Hi Teresa, the blog gadgets box in the upper right sidebar is a custom coded box. I think it was originally designed for wordpress, but I tweaked it until it worked in some capacity here. I googled to find it.

    The sharing is caring gadget after each post is a code I had to install into the template and I found the code for blogger through Google for that too.
