Lysol has been a long time friend to our home. With four boys running around, you can never be too careful when it comes to germs. There is a can of Lysol disinfectant spray in almost every room of my home. It has been getting quite a workout lately too, since Matt and I have come down with colds in the last week. Lysol has created a Mission for Health community dedicated to helping you learn how best to keep your family healthy and germ free!
{Cold and Flu Facts and the Lysol Mission for Health Community}
Most people equate colds and the flu with frigid temperatures, but the truth is that these illnesses can be unpredictable and can strike as late in the year as May! The peak of flu and cold season is the months of January and February in the U.S. and there are many false misconceptions regarding these illnesses, their symptoms, how they differ and how you can prevent the spread of germs.
Lysol has created a Mission for Health community that is a one stop shop for advice and tips from other consumers as well as some of the leading health experts. In fact, on Tuesday, March 1st Dr. Laura Jana (nationally acclaimed pediatrician and mother of 3) will be answering your Cold & Flu Season questions.
If you can't make the video chat, you can still ask questions by going to the Facebook page and leaving your questions in advance (and getting a chance to win a gift card) then tune in on your own time and watch Dr. Jana answer your questions or visit the Facebook page to share your own tips and learn what works for others!
