Do You Believe in Conspiracy Theories?

2:04 PM

Whether it is the existence of alien life, the idea that you can indeed lick all the way to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop without biting or that Elvis never really left the building, conspiracy theories are everywhere you look. With the Super Bowl only a few days away, Hyundai has launched their new "Snap Out of It" campaign as a means to combat the "compact car conspiracy."

See, I knew there was a reason that I continued to stick with my old compact car, even though I said everyday that I hated it and needed more room. The compact conspiracy theory is centered around the idea that compact cars are brainwashing consumers into believing they are roomy and better than the other vehicle options out there. Luckily I broke free of the compact car brainwashing. Can you?

Take a look at these videos that are part of the Hyundai Snap Out of It Superbowl Campaign.

So what's the verdict? Are we being brainwashed by compact cars?

  1. Ummm that leg one is really weird. Everything on TV is a conpiracy in someway to make money. We must be programmed to buy products.

  2. I don't know about compact cars. They look tiny no matter how you slice it. I do think there are a lot of things that are out there that we don't know about, and are even lied to about. But take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm an Army wife, so I'm a bit jaded. I totally believe the saying "For every one thing the government tells us there are ten they don't."
