Legendary Director Blake Edwards Dies at the Age of 88

Legendary director and husband to Julie Andrews passed away last night from complications from pneumonia at the age of 88. Edwards was the brilliant director behind the hilarious "Pink Panther" series, as well as one of my all time favorite movies, "Breakfast at Tiffany's."



Not just a director, he also wrote for the big screen and acted in a number of movies as well. In 2003, he received an Oscar for his efforts and his brilliance is sure to be missed! RIP

    OH, I hadn't heard this... how sad. I also LOVE "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and think that Blake Edwards was a wonderful man.
    My heart goes out to Julie Andrews, they appeared to have had a beautiful marriage.
