Spin and Go 360 Touchless Mop and Wringer Cleaning System Review and Giveaway

11:31 AM

Okay, I am going to let out a little secret about myself. I am a clean freak. Even though my house is rarely spotless, it is always picked up and I refuse to let anyone inside unless it is my version of clean. With four kids, four cats, a dog and two ferrets, this means a lot of cleaning and constant picking up. One of my least favorite things to do is mop, it is seldom a fast process and it seems like I have to do it at least once a day to keep the floor looking clean.

When I was given the opportunity to try out the Spin and Go Touchless Mop and Wringer Cleaning System, I was a little skeptical, but since I was pretty fed up with my Swiffer Wet Jet, I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised though and actually found that this cool new mop makes mopping the floor a little less of a hassle than before.

{Assembly}

When the Spin and Go Touchless Mop and Wringer came in the mail, it arrived almost  totally assembled. This is a big plus for me, as I am mechanically challenged and found this easy to put together. All I had to do was attach the two sections of the handle and then attach the mop head. This is easily done without even using your hands. A big plus for those who  don't like to get their hands dirty when changing mop heads. I know I used to hate taking the dirty pads off the Swiffer every time I was done using it. Gross!

{Using the Mop}

Using the Spin and Go Mop system really could not be easier. You fill the bucket with water and your choice of cleaner. There is a mark that shows you the maximum fill level. After that, you just dip the mop in the water, put it into the drainer/strainer section within the bucket and step on the foot pedal a few times to spin it around and wring the water out. I was afraid the first few times I did this, because I really thought water was going to go flying everywhere, but not a drop was spilled.

{Where to Use}

I have been using this mop system for several weeks now and have used it in the kitchen, entry area and bathrooms. It has done well in all of them and I really appreciate that it can turn 360 degrees around. This makes it glide around edges and corners and it really gets areas clean that the Swiffer or even traditional mops couldn't  touch. I had thought that after so long without a mop bucket I would hate the inconvenience of it, but it is actually much more convenient because it cleans better and easier. You can also use the Spin and Go mop in a variety of other places, including dusting hard to reach areas and even on your car!

{Likes}
  • No pads to constantly replace.
  • No mess or getting your hands dirty.
  • Cleans really well, especially in corners and hard to reach areas.
  • Stands up all by itself.
  • Easy to clean and store.
  • Spins 360 degrees for better coverage and reaches under furniture too!
  • Better for the environment.
{Dislikes}
  • Would love a longer handle. I am 5'9" and I often had to bend over when scrubbing and mopping.
  • The back of the bucket under the wringer basket can be a little hard to clean, but not filling the water so high does away with this problem.
{Buy It}
You can purchase the Spin and Go Touchless Mop and Wringer system on the Spin and Go website for $49.95 plus $14.95 for shipping. This is a great deal if you factor in the disposable pads and special cleaning solutions you won't have to buy on a weekly basis as with other systems.

*I am disclosing that I received a Spin and Go Mop System for the purpose of review. However, all words and opinions expressed above were entirely my own and were not influenced by any other means.

  1. Ohh man...I would LOVE to win this! The fact that it spins so easy and looks like you can get it into all those super tight spaces (like under the fridge and stove)...I too am an obsessive neat freak with numerous children and animals (not to mention a husband who works in a bronze foundry and comes home covered in metal slivers and dust)....

  167. I love that all you have to do is step on pedal a few times to spin dry mop head. That will save some messes!
