Happy Birthday Beanie Bug!

Five years ago today, a crying, screaming bundle of love entered my world. Beanie Bug is my baby and I can't tell you how sad it makes me to see him getting older each day. We are off to celebrate and later I will post pictures of my attempt at actually making a birthday cake for once instead of buying one. How will it turn out?

This is a video of the book "Love You Forever" and it truly tells how I feel today. I know the video is long, but if you have never heard of this book, I encourage you to watch it with your little ones and you won't be sorry!

Happy Birthday Big Guy! I LOVE the age of 5 - all good things happen when they are 5: overflowing hugs, funny quips and quotes and imagination flowing freely.

Sorry, can't watch that video...just thinking of the book gets me all choked up. It's one that sticks with you.

Happy birthday to your little man. That book was (and still is) one of our favorites. It is still one of the things that my boys (ages 19 & 22) and I quote to each other.
Can't wait until I see your cake... it doesn't matter how it looks, just that you made it for him will be all that he needs.
