Disney World – Our Favorite Place Where’s Yours?
8:56 AM
I wanted to take a minute or two today to put up a post about our family’s most favorite spot in the entire world. As a child my parents took me there a few times and I fell in love with the magic of it all. When my oldest two were 3 and 2, I decided to take them for their first trip and it has been a yearly tradition since then. No matter how hard I had to scrimp and save, we have always been able to go. Why do I waste the money? Because it is not a waste at all, but an investment in memories that we will have forever.
I can’t tell you how many times me boys will start up a conversation about something they did at Disney World of a memory we shared there. They look for hidden Mickeys everywhere we go and I love it. I love that we have a place to create these memories that they will keep forever and that to me is not a waste. We always stay in a value resort on property and we usually eat on the dining plan. I can tell you right now, that our life at home is far from luxurious and that my kids don’t have all the latest gadgets and that is okay. When they grow up, the will not remember some electronic device they got one year, but they will be able to recall each family trip to Disney World.
Many people don’t understand how we go each year for a week and never get tired of it, but we simply love it and there is always something new to seek out and find. In fact, I still have not ridden every single ride. That is our favorite place, where is yours?
