Back to School Bash - Yoplait Go-Gurt Prize Pack Review and Giveaway

11:49 PM

My boys really love Yogurt and will eat almost any kind. Although, the do really enjoy things that are out of the ordinary and that is why they have taken to Yoplait Go-Gurt so strongly. Go-Gurt comes in fun and convenient tubes and is virtually mess free! Being the mom of four kids, I also enjoy that  the boxes come in an eight pack. Usually, yogurt for children comes in a six pack of cups and then it is not come out even against the number of boys I have. Recently, My Blog Spark and Yoplait were kind enough to allow me to review a Keeping Cool in School Gift Pack that came with a ton of great school supplies and a coupon for a free Yoplait Go-Gurt.

{In Their Words}

 "There is no ice pack needed - Go-Gurt (and Simply… Go-Gurt too!) is specially made to freeze and thaw, keeping the yogurt, and the rest of lunch, cool until lunch time.

With Go-Gurt yogurt in your child’s lunch box, you can feel confident that there will be no snack trading at lunch time since Go-Gurt has a taste and texture that kids love! Moms can feel good about packing Go-Gurt each morning since each portable tube contains a good source of calcium and vitamin D, providing a wholesome addition to a well-balanced lunch. Available in a variety of cool, fun flavors like Strawberry Splash and Chill-Out Cherry, Go-Gurt will quickly become a refreshing classroom favorite. "

{My Take}

We have bought Yoplait Go-Gurt in this house for quite some time and have never been disappointed. I love how convenient it is and the kids love the fun flavors it comes in like Berry Blast and the fact that two of their favorite characters (Spongebob and Scooby Doo) are currently on the boxes.

The Keeping Cool in School pack that I had the chance to review had an insulated lunch tote, mini water bottle, sandwich keeper, cool breeze pen fan, and some fun school supplies for the new school year. The boys loved the gift pack and have already abused the poor pen fan and had a sword fight with the curvy extra long pencils.

I have never hesitated to give my boys Yoplait Go-Gurt because it only has 70 calories and is a healthy snack any time of the day. In fact, we often use it as a side to dinners at home. There is now Simply Go-Gurt as well that has no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners!

{Buy It}

Yoplait Go-Gurt is sold in most national chain and local grocery stores and is generally sold in eight count boxes.

{Win It}

My Blog Spark and Yoplait are giving one lucky winner a Yoplait Keeping Cool in School prize back like the one pictured above except the yogurt will be provided in the form of a free item coupon you an redeem at your local store.

This giveaway will end on August 16, 2010 at 8pm EST and one winner will be chosen via random.org at that time. The winner will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be chosen. Open to US residents 18+only. The coupon offer for free Go-Gurt is not valid in some states, including California, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, North Dakota and Tennessee.

    47. get ready the night before- starts the day out right- even go as far as puring cereal without milk in sealable bowls and having things stressfree- if by chance you are running late they can grab it and a juice box and eat in the car

    48. Getting the kids' to get their backpacks ready the night before is really helpful. If there are any forms that need mom's signature, we can get it done then. Also we aren't rushing around like chickens with their heads cut off in the morning.

      My best back to school tip is beginning a couple of weeks before school starts getting the children used to going to bed earlier every night and then waking them up a little earlier every few mornings. Something my mom always did for us before we went back. This gets there schedule back on track and keeps them focused for a new school year.
