Trukid Sunny Days Sunscreen Review and Giveaway
1:43 PMI sought out Trukid Skincare not too long ago, because my youngest son is highly allergic to regular sunscreen. Over the years, we have tried many different kinds including "hypoallergenic" baby sunscreen, but it all makes him break out in a bumpy rash and he swells up too. I have been desperately trying to find something that would work so that I didn't always have to keep him sheltered from the Florida sun.
{My Take}
Luckily, Trukid skincare was super nice and allowed me to review some of their Sunny Days All Natural 30 SPF Sunscreen in my home. They also sent along several individual samples of their Silly Shampoo, Cool Conditioner and Bubbly Body Wash. We have had a chance to try out all of these products and they are all wonderful. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash each have a fun scent without being overbearing and they are made from all-natural ingredients that do not irritate little eyes. It is wonderful washing your child in something and not having to be worried about it hurting them in any way.
The Trukid Sunny Days 30SPF Sunscreen was a godsend to our family. The same day it arrived, I applied a little bit to my youngest son's upper arm in order to do a spot check of the product. Several hours later, there was no rash or swelling that would have usually occurred with the use of sunscreen. The next day we tested it on his whole upper body and face as we went to the park. Through hours of play in the hot Florida sun he remained burn free and he does not have the slightest bit of sensitivity to this product. After years of being afraid every time my son stepped outdoors, I don't have to worry anymore.
The Sunny Days Sunscreen rubs in easily and does not leave a greasy after effect that is so often left behind with sunscreens. The smell is a light citrus scent, which I personally love. I feel good about using these products on all of my children and appreciate that a mother of six, Jennifer Adams Bunkers, cared enough to create such a safe line of products targeted especially for kids! I also appreciate that the price for a 2oz. bottle is only $10.00, which is comparable to regular drug store brands.
{In Their Words}

{Buy It}
The whole line of Trukid Skincare products including their sunscreen, as well as bath and body products can be purchased from their online store. With products starting at only $2.80, this is a truly affordable natural skincare line.
{Win It}

already a follower AND I'd love to try it if it doesn't leave a greasy film, as you said. I hate when sunscreen rubs on SO thick and oily :)
ReplyDeleteI am a Google Friend Connect follower. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

Public follower gfc (slblog). I want to try it cause my son has really sensitive skin and he even just broke out in a rash with bug spray so I'm weary to use any product on him!

I love these products. The fact that they received the safest award of 0-3 from the EWG would be a reason I'd use it.It's also great that there is no greasy residue left behind.

after having had two squamous cell cancers removed in a ten month period I am all for sunscreen and urging parents to begin using it on their kids early in life. my parents took us to the beach unprotected and i got some terrible burns. i'm paying for it now.
