 My favorite part of a road trip is by far the food. I love the experience of getting to try new local specialties and you don't even have to go far to experience different cuisine. As most of you know, I am on a road trip with the boys right now and we have already had the opportunity to sample different flavors. We ate fried Gator yesterday, definitely not something we find at home. Kraft Foods is rolling out their Outstandwich Road Trip sweepstakes and wants you to get in on the foodie fun as well!

{What is the Outstandwich Road Trip Sweepstakes?}

Beginning July 18th and ending August 14, 2011, you can visit the Outstandwich Road Trip site and view various sandwich favorites from across the country. Each region has their list of favorites and some of them are totally drool worthy. Not only can you pick up some amazing recipes to take your senses on a road trip from the comfort of your own home, but you can also enter to win one of four weekly cash prizes of $3,750 to take an actual road trip of your own!

You can enter to win one time each day and can earn bonus entries for telling a friend about the sweepstakes. So what are you waiting for? This is cold hard cash people, and the opportunity to try your hand at recreating some of the most amazing sandwiches from around the country. My personal favorite recipe is the Cowgirl Turkey Burger from Wyoming, way out West.
