6 Hot Summer Eye Makeup Tutorials!

 Photo from the Temptalia Tutorial.

I am going to clue you all in on a little secret, I have never been taught how to put on makeup! Honestly, I have had very little interest in makeup, hair or beauty in any way until recently. I don't know what it is, but as the kids get older and I find I have more time, there is actually a renewed interest in looking my best. A while ago, I posted a roundup with 5 short hair tutorials for summer. Today, I thought I would do a roundup for some of the makeup tutorials I have come across for summer eye looks. Enjoy!

1. Summer Bronze Eye Tutorial

I really love this look. It is bright, but not too over the top for an everyday look. Plus, it is easy and they get props for having a Train song in the tutorial.

2. Summer Beach Party Eye Makeup Tutorial

I don't know what it is, but I really love the striking green color in this one down near the lashes and then the more smokey/muted feel of the rest of the look.

3. Peacock Inspired Summer Eye Makeup Tutorial

This one is not a video, but it is one of my favorites in those I have run across so I wanted to share. It is also simple and there is a step by step tutorial for this look at Jangsara.blogspot.com.

4. Green, Coral and Purple Eye Makeup Tutorial

Not sure that I am brave enough to try something this bright and colorful, but I really love it and think I will probably sport it at least a few times this summer. It is really fun!

5. Soft Smokey Eye Tutorial

This is a toned down version of the traditional dark smokey eye and would be great for summer nights. I love the touch of pink in this, without it being overpowering.

6. Summer Coral Eye Tutorial

Another pinkish coral colored tutorial here. This is a great look if you want something that isn't so bold and bright, but still has that summer feel.

One thing I have noticed from watching these eye makeup tutorials lately is that I have to get used to using a whole lot more eye shadow. Which look above is your favorite?
