2 Sisters 1 Love Etsy Store Review and $20 GC Giveaway

I love Etsy shops. The creativity and beautifully made products that the shop owners offer always makes my shopping itch go crazy. When I stumbled upon the 2 Sisters 1 Love Etsy shop, I just knew I had to feature their adorable products on my blog.

"Welcome to 2 Sisters 1 Love! For years my sister and I have shared the same love and passion for all things crafty. Family members and friends have always encouraged us to find an outlet for selling our items and we have now found that outlet! We both enjoy crafting and creating so much. In our shop you will find a wide variety of items!"

{My Take}

2 Sisters 1 Love is a shop owned by two sisters named Heather and Melanie. These are truly two of the sweetest and most talented women I have ever come across. They share the same love, that of creating quality toys and items for the home and for children to play with. The love and effort that they put into each product is easily visible and their products are all super soft and are available in a multitude of colors that are ideal for both girls and boys.

The item pictured above is one of the first products from this shop that I fell in love with. If your children are anything like mine, then they have had periods of time when they are afraid of monsters under their beds, in the closet or even behind the curtains. My youngest is particularly afraid of them and that is where this little guy comes in. He comes complete with a jar for his home and a lady bug for his best friend. The greatest part is that he comes with a unique note that explains how he used to live under the bed, but now he is a pet and is nice in his jar. It gives children a way to visualize a solution to their fears.

Other items included in this wonderful shop are homemade play doughnuts, tea cookies, cinnamon rolls, little birds, stuffed giraffes and of course, a generous supply of cute little monsters. No two monsters are the same in the shop and it allows children to find that perfect plushie that suits their personal style and taste. The monsters are great for creative play and it didn't take my boys long to figure out that their green, blue and red monsters were the same color as the Alvin and the Chipmunks' shirts. The three of them then proceeded to play chipmunks with them and had a blast all night long. As you can see, even my eight year old liked them and played along with the younger boys.

 All the monsters were super soft and each had their own qualities and personality it seemed like. I love that when they got dirty, a quick trip through the washer and drier was all that was needed and that there were no sharp or hard portions or pieces on them at all, making them ideal for even babies. We did have the stitching of one ear come loose about a week after play, but it was easily fixed and my youngest had been dragging it along by its poor floppy ear for the previous 7 days.

I would definitely recommend 2Sisters1Love to anyone who is looking for a new and different birthday gift or holiday gift idea or for those who simply want to ease their children's fears and add a little sunshine into their day.

Melanie Shanks has also self published two great children's books, "The Mouse Named Hero" and "The Squints," both of which can be purchased on Amazon.com. We had the pleasure of reading "The Mouse Named Hero" and it was a beautiful and exciting chapter book that all my boys (even my oldest) enjoyed.
