Alex and Ani Bangle Bracelet Review and Giveaway

With my newest jewelry kick and an interest in renewing my accessories list with trendy and beautiful pieces, I sought out Alex and Ani. This company has designer pieces of jewelry that really tell a story and are quite different from many of the options out there.

 {My Take}

First I will mention the things I love about the company as a whole. I absolutely love that they are a USA company and that their items are all manufactured and made right here, thus feeding our own economy. I also adore the fact that they go out of their way to use recycled materials for their items and even have a small tag with a recycling symbol on their pieces. 

The item I was able to review was the Crab Expandable Wire Bangle in Russian Silver. This was the perfect addition to my summertime wardrobe and I have to say that my boys were quite tickled to see mommy wearing a crab on her bracelet. They have a whole line of summer inspired charm bangles and they are really affordable at only at only $28.

Alex and Ani have developed the ingenious expandable wire design that makes getting your bangle off and on a breeze. You simply slide the expandable part of the jewelry one way to make it  larger and then slide it back together to tighten the fit. They also carry a large variety of rings, necklaces and earrings with the same design.

When I first put on the crab bangle, I was a little concerned that the expandable wire bracelet would not hold its shape because of the constant loosening and tightening I did to take it on and off, but it has held its shape just fine and the detail on the crab charm is really well done. It has more of a rustic finish and feel than a polished shiny one, but I actually prefer that.

If you are looking for jewelry pieces that allow you to express your individuality and personal style, then the Alex and Ani brand would definitely be a great choice. Their pieces are stylish yet not overworked and can be dressed up or played down depending on your atmosphere.
